Phil Sleemanat Bangalow Market Philip Sleemans' silver, gold and precious gem jewellery is 100% hand-crafted to enhance the natural beauty of both the stones and metals.

"Sometimes the gems are so exquisite I choose not to complicate the design to the point where it detracts from the natural beauty of the stone. Other times, by combining rose gold, white gold and yellow gold in an elaborate design influenced by celtic or even eastern traditional motifs, I can compliment an amethyst or turquoise or even a unique piece of Sardinian red coral into one-off pieces such as rings, pendants or earrings. Silver in its simplicity is a wonderful metal that can be finely carved, or solid and beaten, or can be combined with touches of gold to enhance an opal, sapphire or emerald."

Philip has been making jewellery in his own designs since the 70's and has sold many pieces to celebrities and to galleries all round the country. Now he sells direct to the public from the local craft markets at Bangalow, Byron Bay and Lennox Head in NSW, near his studio and home. He is more than happy to create others’ designs and is very willing to make unique wedding or engagement rings to any design.
